Speedhunters Touring Car Update

I’m back again this month on Speedhunters for an update to the current range of builds I have going on at the moment, I hope you’ll enjoy the read. The car sat lonely in the corner with no paint, as unattractive as any car can look yet the reaction we got to it was something we had never seen before. Touring Car Goes For Paint

Just a small update with a photograph of the carbon touring car in the paint booth. The eagle eyed amongst you will notice some extra weight saving measure we’ve taken. The car will be on display this weekend (Sunday 13th September) at the Custom & Performance Show at Limerick Racecourse. Come on over to the Carbon Fusion stand to see this and our SR20 Road car !

Just a small update on the JGTC inspired all carbon fibre touring car …

Our sponsors Carbon Fusion have today collected our JGTC inspired Toyota Altezza based touring car. The all carbon fibre car is going for paint this weekend so it can be used as a rolling shell demo car for the rest of the show season.

Ffrench Joins Speedhunters

Wexican Motorsport is delighted to announce that Martin Ffrench has been named as the newest official driver of the Speedhunters team. Martin will now be paired alongside Falken Ford Mustang driver Vaughn Gittin Jr, Red Bull driver ‘Mad’ Mike Whidett in his crazy 4 Rotor RX7 and World Racing driver Chris Rado.

This official partnership puts Martin on the world stage, with the Speedhunters project receiving over a quarter of a million unique visits each month from around the globe.

Wexican at Mondello

Just recovering from the third round of the Prodrift Irish Series. Was a tough event in the Laurel, which just doesn’t have the power to pull the weight. Still a top 16 result and 4th place qualification was as good as we could expect with a 300hp barge. Full coverage and feedback from the event to follow …

After much swearing and minute adjustments, the latest Wexican Motorsport video is online. The footage features more on-board, more out-board and more action than before. The music is by Waterford band, Gorbachov and the song is titled ‘Come & Get It’ from their debut album ‘Can’t Start the Machine’
